On the outskirts of the city on a spacious plot stood an old and dilapidated modernist villa. It was clear that upon purchase the house would have to be rigorously renovated to make it habitable. Constructionally and physically it was in very poor condition so that the foundation, facades, and roof of the building had to be completely re-made in terms of insulation and appearance.

The existing layout of the floor plans made it possible to optimize the splendid split-level distribution; a main volume at garden level, containing a spacious kitchen, dining and living room, and a lowered playroom, study and exit to the spacious covered terrace. The master bedroom with a dressing room and bathroom, and the children's rooms with separate sanitary rooms, are semi-elevated. This includes the various facilities, such as the laundry room, indoor and outdoor storage, wine storage and installation space for, among other things, the outdoor swimming pool. Due to the large overhangs, various carefully placed garden walls, repositioning of windows, the open structure and decoration of the interior and exterior, the house has been transformed into a residential house in which the transition from the living space inside and outside manifests itself in a natural way.
